In my own humble opinion, besides Wadi El Hidan, this is the most beautiful and most impressive canyon in Madaba region!
On our second visit to Wadi Manshala, I literary couldn't stop taking photos until I reached the trailend with more than 300! I have selected around 130 to share with you.
Breathtaking series of waterfalls with abundant little pools, travertine deposits along the wadi creating draperies and chimneys in endless shapes, ravines crowded with palm trees, and many water springs!
The best way to do this wadi with a little group is on two days, meaning, we would spend the night inside. This will give us plenty of time to enjoy the great amount of nature beauty and enjoy a great deal of abseiling as well. A good abseiling experience is definitely needed as well as being well-equipped to spend the night! I think this will be a perfect trip for the autumn season when the weather is not too hot.
For those who haven't done abseiling or rappelling before, we are planning to schedual training sessions during June. We would pick a small cliff around Madaba and give the participants a chance to get familiar with the abseiling technique before he actually goes canyoning. Those interested, please send me your feedback on rakan@terhaal.com.

Many thanks to the amazing canyoneering team: Yoel, Kfir and Oshri!
