Experience the southern part of Dana Nature Reserve as we trek through the facsinating canyon of Wadi Ghweir following a year-round water stream. Walk through a narrow sandstone siq (gorge), enjoy the hanging gardens and a little oasis of palm trees and fresh water springs!
Wadi Ghweir: 11 Km/8 hour moderate hike. The wadi descends from the Shawbak Plateau through a spectacular red sandstone siq (gorge). The lower end of the wadi is called wadi ghweir and is garnished by hanging gardens and passes through a little oasis of palm trees and water springs. A little water stream goes through the wadi all year-round. The trail ends at Feynan.
